Last month, Square Enix released a series of trading figures from Final Fantasy Dissidia. They’re prebuilt, about 6 inches tall, and cost just a tad under 20 bucks each. Wow! An Andrew Jackson (that’s the president on the twenty dollar bill) for a trading figure?
It’s very surprising to see such a high price point for these figures. But considering that the dollar yen currency exchange rate is hovering around 80 yen per dollar, maybe I SHOULD be used to these high prices by now. 
It sure took me a while, but I finally finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion 1.11 You are (Not) Alone movie. Yes, that’s sad, considering how long ago it came out. But nonetheless, that’s one less item in my dvd backlog to watch. >_>
I really enjoyed the animation, particularly scenes of Shinji by himself after running away from home. The music is also very good. The consolidation of the first few episodes of the TV series was done very nicely and smoothly. And the movie appropriately ended on a high note w/ Rei.
Final Grade: B+
